Wordpress is my favored blog website system. It’s what I’m using now. The advantages of creating and running a Wordpress based blog are many. The availability of free worpres plugins is the best reason for choosing it.
The Twitter Tools plugin is an excellent example of the free tools that webmasters can get for their blog.All you have to do is copy these plugins to your plugins directory and activate them. The Twitter Tools plugin is best used in the side bar.
After you activate the plugin you can tell it how you want it to run. I personally use it on some of my blogs to send an automatic tweet to my twitter profile. Everytime I make a blog post, Twitter Tools sends a tweet to the twitter profile I’ve setup for it.
If your blog posts come from RSS feeds to your site, those also go as tweets to your twitter profile. That can cause thousands of tweets to be made in a relatively short time. It also adds onto the tweet spam pile.
Use common sense with this tool! It’s free and it works!
