More Twitter Marketing Software from Tweet Whistle is for serious Twitter marketers.

However, the fee is a one time fee of $39.95 and while that is not free, al least you don’t have to pay a recurring monthly. It is a one time cost.

This twitter adder program searches for potential followers by tweeted keywords, keywords in the user Bio, location, and followers of friends.

Auto follow features include auto follow, auto follower, auto unfollow and follower safelists. Auto messaging features include auto DM, auto tweet and RSS feed tweets.

The software also enables random time delay tweeting. You can also use it with an unlimited number of profiles.

With the demo version of tweet whistle you are limited to following 200 people, unfollowing 100 people, 10 tweets and sending 10 direct messages. This gives you an opportunity to try out the software to determine if you want to buy the real version.

To simply say that Tweet Spinner cleans up your twitter ‘direct messages’ folder is a woeful understatement of all the tools available for free.

You can also do some rare things with the spinner tools that you can’t find elsewhere. For instance, you can rotate your background design and your text profile. This will help keep your site looking fresh and updated.

Other things that you can do for free at spinner include schedule a tweet for hours days or weeks in advance, unfollow up to 40 friends at a time that do not follow you, follow up to 40 followers that follow you but that you do not follow, add keywords to locate and follow up to 40 new people at a time per keyword and more.

Tweet Spinner also is very mindful of the limits that twitter places on accounts and tries to keep your activities within those limits. This assists you from having your account closed.

It’s free, but does have upgrade options too.

Was I impressed with Tweet Adder?

Sorry, but I wasn’t all that excited – in the beginning!

It does let you choose the number of days to wait before you unfollow someone who does not follow you.

Tips – The subject of an auto tweet included a shortened url of google newsfeed link. This will keep the resulting link content ‘fresh’. The auto retweet option is sure better than doing it anyother way.

While the software does have almost every auto twitter following tool you need, the price tag was a tad too much for my budget. To use Twitter Adder you’ll need to pay $55 for one profile, $74 for 5 profiles, $110 for 10 profiles or $188 for unlimited profiles.

For that much money I want it to get me coffee too – but you’ll just have to settle with a twitter tool that actually does what you need it to do!

Twitter Karma is great for bulk follow and unfollows when you need to clean up your twitter profile. But the free TwiPing program is a super free software tool that you can use to quickly follow hundreds of new people.

I suggest that you use this tool to follow your first 2,000 people. A huge proportion of those first 2,000 will in turn follow you. I’d follow them for at least a week. If they haven’t followed you back by then, you can dump them all with one simple click with the karma tool.

Twiping excels in selecting hundreds of profiles of people that are friends of your followers and then following them all. I used it to add all the followers for my Free Cell Phone twitter profile.

Tweet Later was an easy name to remember. But alas, it is now Social Ooomph! Egads, that name is even worse than twitter! But, the service is good and so is the price – FREE.

Yah yah, the basic service is free – but it works for me, for my needs. Here is what you can do for free.

Send An Automatic Welcome To New Followers - This can be the most crucial part of your follower contact. They are online and interested in twitter now, not the next day when you happen to login and notice you have a new follower. Besides, how do you currently track who is new!

Schedule tweets – If you have a rush of adrenaline and have lots of tweets you want to do, you can space them a part. This makes you look like you are awake and functioning when you are actually passed out on the couch or just enjoying the daylight.

Autofollow – You will automatically follow anyone who follwes you. Not only is it a common coutesy to follow anyone who follows you, you are likely to be dropped if you do not follow them.

Autounfollow – You will automatically unfollow anyone that drops you. No one gets a free ride with you. You cannot afford one way follows.

View Mentions and Retweets – A quick recap of who has mentioned or retweeted you. Find out which people respond to your tweets and focus on them.

Track keywords on Twitter – This is essentially your own search engine. One that works for automatically. You’ll get an email showing you who has used whatever keyword you are interest in.

Vet new followers – Here is a common cause/term of confusion. This process lets you interupt Autofollow & Autounfollow so you can weed out unwanted and irrelevant people.

Cleanup your Inbox – This automatically removes direct messages older than 7 or 30 days. A nice little time saver.

Personal tweet engine – You can schedule added tweets that do not go into your twitter profile.

That is the new phrase for the twitter world “I’ll follow you, If you follow me“.

Often it is left unsaid by both parties due to good manners and the fear that you will appear shallow and needy. If you haven’t already signed up for the free tool that lets you automatically follow, unfollow and send a welcome message then by all means do it now! (it’s the big orange and blue banner on the top right of this page, Egads people).

Now that you have the future all taken care, what about all those ‘deadbeats’ who were not polite enough to follow you when you started to follow them? You could go through your list one by one and compare them. Or you could just forget it.

However, if you are not the forgiving type you can use the free comparison tool.  Just plug in two twitter IDs and you can see who is not following whom! Then take whatever action you feel is advisable.

Since it does display more information than that, you can also use it for more tasks. The simplest tool for finding those ungrateful nonfollowers is “friend or follow“. There, you just enter your username and the icons of those non-reciprocators show up all in one neat shooting gallery row.

From there, it is a simple matter of right clicking on their icon to load their page in another window or tab. Now it’s so easy to just click the following button and then the unfollow button. If you like, you can verbally say out loud “take that” as you unfollow them. Justice at last is yours!

For all you twitters out there, please follow me @AutoTweet4free. But be warned, I will regularily be culling the herd of all non-followers. The first time I checked it, I unceremoniously dumped 27 freeloaders and will dump more.

OK, so now you’ve got rid of some deadwood. Now you can turn your attention to finding people with similar interests as you. If you want to take a chance and just follow everyone who uses a keyword (such as your name) you can easily do that for free at Twollow. I’ll give that a try. But if I find out that I’m adding more freeloaders, I’ll either change my keywords or discontinue the practise altogether.

When you first set it up, you can choose whether you want to limit each autofollow action (about three times a day) to 5, 10 or 15 new followings. This prevent you from mistakenly following 1,000’s of people who use a word like ‘the’ in a tweet.

For the ultimate in simplicity there is “Twitter Karma“. In a couple of slick moves you can instantly see who is not following you, then bulk ‘unfollow’ them in return. That should give you an  even greater reason to shout “take that scum“!

As an experiment, I ‘bulk unfollowed’ the last 100 freeloaders and then ‘bulk ‘followed’ them again. That should give them fair warnng. Tomorrow I will ‘bulk unfollow’ any holdouts then say TTFN.

Another tool for sorting through followers and nofollowers is located at “MyTwitterFlock“. Once you get over 100 followers you may want to check out the text to discover some limitations on API calls and a 2,000 follower limitation.
