Auto Blog and Auto Tweet – Powerful Profitable Package
When you put together the power of auto blogging and auto tweet you get one incredibly powerful system!
The concept is simple. You set up a blog to run by itself on auto pilot and you integrate it into your twitter profile through auto tweeting. The reality is totally feasible, and free.
First you start with a wordpress 2.7+ blog hosted on a site that has the specs needed for the software to run successfully. We tested our free auto blogging module on three different inexpensive web hosting packages. It worked flawlessly on two of them and not all on a third. The basic requirements are PHP 5 and cURL. While not stringent requirements, your host must have them. iPage is one of the web hosting packages that it does work on (you can get unlimited disk space, unlimited bandwidth, a free domain name for life, free setup and use unlimited domain names for $3.50 a month on the 2 year prepaid plan).
The free module for the auto blog software is clickbank affiliate products. One of our tests of this is included on the script-hosting.com site (which incidentally does not advertise the host that is being hosted on). At the bottom of each of the posts is the cloaked link to a clickbank product page. This cloaking feature is built into the auto blog software and is quite easy to enable and setup. Cloaking somewhat protects your affiliate link and it also prevents page rank from being lost to an outgoing link. It is identifiable by your domain name followed by a go subdirectory and the post name.
You can literally make hundreds of posts in minutes. You can even backdate them to start posting on any date, and to be randomly posted by a time interval that you designate in hours or days. For instance, in our example we could have made 100 posts of clickbank products with the keyword ‘webhost’ to start one year ago and be posted from 2 to 6 days apart.
To setup a current posting schedule, you designate a category for the posts and a keyword for the products. You set it to post with a from/to period of hours or days. It works automatically once you set it up. On the clickbank module we noticed that one word keywords are much more targeted than two word keyword phrases. For instance, blackjack would work great as a one word keyword. However, ‘video poker’ would give you product posts on videos that have nothing to do with poker ( we know, we tried).
It is actually quite easy to setup! As you might expect there is also a paid version of the auto blogging software!
And you will be as thrilled as “a kid in a candy store” when you see all the possibilities. You can pick and choose from the different modules and even package a few together and get a discount. But you will probably eventually get enough of them that you will be better off buying the complete elite package with all the modules that can be used on an unlimited number of domains. That’s the one that we are getting!
The paid version includes modules for Amazon products, eBay auctions, Clickbank ads, Youtube videos, Yahoo Answers Q&A’s, Articlebase articles, Flickr images, Yahoo News and RSS feeds. These are all good resource sites which we have previously used separately to create many other websites. Just from the list you can begin to see the all possibilities!
I found this software because one of my favorite word press plugins stopped working. The yahoo answers module used to be free. It was great for doing Q&A posts. The question is the post content and the answers are the comments. This is super for a new site that doesn’t have any visitors or comments. It gives the allusion of user traffic. This one is also keyword based. you designate a keyword and a posting category and tell the software how often you want it to post new questions and answers.
The module that I am really interested in using is the you tube videos. Once again, all you need to do is choose a keyword for your videos. This differs from a different movie auto blogging script I’ve seen that requires you to find and list the movies you to post about. If I wanted to do that much work, I’d write the post myself.
The amazon module also has more features than a different free amazon autoposter plugin I have used. This one lets you use an “Exact Match” option that “will only return products that contain all words of your keyword phrase in the exact order”. This address the unrelated posts issue that I mentioned in the free clickbank module. Careful use of keywords will lessen this issue but not eliminate it. That is one of the limitations of any automatic posting system.
With the demo version of WP robot there is a link to the software manufactures site on the bottom of your blog if you have a posting schedule setup. To get rid of that link you could eliminate the scheduled post and leave the backdated posts or you can buy one of the packages.
I’ve tried other auto blogging software and scripts. One older free script that uses RSS feeds will get your your site dropped very quickly from google. A different paid auto blogging software I bought was limited to the use of posting articles from a text file. The text file can contain html, but it has trouble using the $ sign. Unless you remove that and other unusual text characters like the Euro and British Pound signs, the post will end at that point. It also does not accept foreign language characters like those contained in the spanish and french language. These limitations caused me a lot of frustration. To get a decent looking blog with no errors you needed to do a test posting of all the articles. It was a big duplication of effort – and you really had to look at all the posts to be sure they came out correctly.
Once you have your auto blog setup you can easily integrate it with your twitter profile with the free twitterfeed rss to blog site or social oomph’s paid rss to blog feature.
